Ayan Pal is a Kolkata based Indian author, IT Consultant, speaker, and film critic best known for his acclaimed short stories in the #1 Amazon Bestseller ‘Chronicles of Urban Nomads’ and #2 Amazon Bestseller ‘21 Tales to Tell’.

 

Ayan was a finalist (chosen as 3rd best by the audience) in the Tata LitLive Short Story Contest organized by Mumbai Literary Festival in Nov 2013. In Jan 2014 he won the Notion Press Social Short Story Contest organized by Chennai Literary Festival and debuted as a contributing author along with twenty other winners in the anthology of short stories “21 Tales to Tell”.

Since then, Ayan has also won the Readomania Short Story Contest – Imagine, The Grapevine World Short Story Contest, Upper Cut - A change India Initiative Short Story Contest, Hachette India Short Story Contest – The Voice of Meera, and Her Story: Is Not Always a Story Short Story Contest, and Rudraksh – Decophering Mythology Short Story contest.

 

He has also contributed to India’s first composite novel – ‘Crossed and Knotted’ and is on the verge of publishing his debut novel ‘What if…?’, a part dramatic thriller & part fantasy adventure set in post World War II India and England.
